New stuff I got for mom today

A friend sent me a link about this stuff called Glyconutrients. I looked into it a bit further and discovered it has some tremendous benefits to battling cancer and tumors. I dug deeper and found a product called Chemovive that's made specifically for chemotherapy/radiation patients to help them in their fight with cancer. It's a highly researched product with a lot of data and studies to support it. I was thoroughly impressed with it and got it immediately for mom. It looks fantastic. Check it out guys! Site Updates

I've been busting my butt working on the site the past few days upgrading it to add a ton of new features. When you hover over a face now it displays a bigger picture and has more information, like you can now add a short personal tidbit under the picture to describe the person's individual situation if you would like. I also put up a message board to build the community and help us grow closer. As far as mom goes, she cannot drive so it is very rough for her because she feels imprisoned at home, so I try to take her out every day just to get her out of the house a little bit. After the CyberKnife she'll be able to drive again so we both look forward to that.

Below is an update transcript from the site...

Recent Updates: Site Code Updated! New features such as: Bigger picture for all packages when you put your mouse over the facededication and short story area added to hovering over faces... Message Board now UP

Today & Recently

Today - Took mom to the doctor to get a checkup on her Thyroid since she had surgery about a month ago. The office didn't have track of her appointment so she got really anxious and nervous about the situation and it ended up taking a few hours. We did some errands and came home, mom took a few naps and is watching TV now not feeling well... Her stomach has been bothering her a lot recently as well as mine.

Recently - Mom had Thyroid surgery about a month ago for cancer in that area, the surgery was a marginal success, they were only able to remove about 80% of the growth on her Thyroid due to it being attached to her larynx and surrounding areas. During the surgical/recovery period she was off of chemo so during that time it spread (currently stage 4) to her brain in two spots; one of the spots effects her decision-making and memory. Because of that she cannot drive anymore, but since i'm on Spring Break taking her where she needs to go is no problem; and once school starts back up she has some amazing people that make sure she gets where she needs to go. She is soon going to have brain surgery with the new CyberKnife procedure, that doing some research on it looks fascinating. It looks like it will take care of the terminal status that has been lingering since the discovery of the brain growths, but we both remain hopeful and will continue to be strong together until she is better; then we will use our strength to help other people going through the same thing, hopefully Faces For A Cure will help us out on that goal.
